Synopsis​

​

Two determined individuals in a small town in southern Taiwan. A-jen, who left his high-paying job to produce organic compost, tirelessly removes plastic from his field. An-ho tends his jujube farm naturally, seeing farming as a way of life. Yet, nature is intangible and relentless, as is the struggle between idealism and reality. These two men earnestly pursue their dreams and cultivate the soil. Is it hope, or just a naive daydream?

熱血青年阿仁，毅然拋下竹科金飯碗，誓言要把城市的菜渣果皮巨量垃圾，種成鬆軟飄香的沃土；已近耳順的安和哥，堅持不用農藥與化學肥料，將果園開放為蟲蠅樂園，形成生態系自然循環修復。同樣面對土壤生病，兩位農民一青一老、一動一靜，各試死土復生之道，亦逢不同的理想與現實拉扯。《無米樂》導演顏蘭權新作，為土請命之餘，更透過鮮活人物對比，讓農活從勞動昇華為哲學。
